The May 18th concert of the phenomenal Italian rock group Måneskin is being moved from Arena Riga to Mežaparks Grand Bandstand (Mežaparka Lielā estrāde). This will allow both to satisfy the great demand and accommodate a significantly larger number of fans, as well as to ensure an even more ambitious show than originally planned. As you know, this year the rock quartet Måneskin, which has become a worldwide musical phenomenon, are rolling out their biggest ever worldwide tour "Loud Kids Tour Gets Louder", within which Riga is lucky enough to be one of the rare stops. Undoubtedly, music composed especially for the series by super talented and honoured composers also plays an important role in this success.
At the March 22nd, you will have a unique opportunity to listen to the brightest motifs from all eight Harry Potter films.
John Williams (Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park) composed the music for the first three films, like the famous Hedwig’s Theme, the leitmotif of the Harry Potter films and Double Trouble - the classic Hogwarts motif with a Children’s choir, as well as the funny Aunt Marges Waltz and Witches, Wands and Wizards.
Titles like the „Hogwarts Hymn” by Patrick Doyle (Bridget Jones's Diary, Carlito's Way, Brave), from the fourth Harry Potter film will bring the audience into the mysterious and dark world of the Triwizard Tournament.
Nicholas Hooper has composed the „Dumbledores Farewell” in the fifth and sixth Harry Potter film. He helped to shape and mature the Harry Potter music and Alexandre Desplat (The Twilight Saga, The Queen, The King's Speech, The Shape of Water) with „Lily`s Theme”, who has composed the music for the last two works of the film series, has created a grandiose and unforgettable final and musical experience.

As already mentioned, the music from the Harry Potter films will be performed by the Magical Symphonic & Philharmonic Film Orchestra and Choir, which has specially been created for our Harry Potter concerts, and which cooperates on this tour – despite the war – with a national Ukrainian State Orchestra: “The Academic Khmelnitsky Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra”. Created in 2001 and led by chief conductor and Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, Sergiy Leonov, the orchestra has won the hearts of many listeners of the both academic and contemporary music. The repertoire includes symphony concerts and opera performances such as Puccini’s “Tosca”, Mozart’s “Magic Flute” and Strauss’ operetta “Die Fledermaus”, as well as collaborations with world known singers and presenting music by Bon Jovi, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen and The Scorpions. Scorpions.
The evening presents a musical journey into a magical world with friendship, adventure, love and cohesion in the dangerous world of magicians.
