As OneRepublic songs play, you realize that you had no idea how many hits they had, and how well you already know them. Rolling Stone magazine wrote about them as a band that makes it possible to hear the music of the future today. The group, which was discovered and put on the big show business track by rapper and producer Timbaland, is special already with the basic composition, where the members alternately play both rock and classical instruments, rarely seen in modern pop music groups. It's violin, viola, cello, and also piano, which is perfectly played by the owner of the emotionally saturated and powerful voice, the charismatic founder and leader of the group, Ryan Tedder.

OneRepublic has worked long and hard on their albums in the studio. The group began to publish their records on the Internet platform "MySpace", which was current at the time, where it quickly gained popularity. They were also noticed there by rapper and producer Timbaland, who remixed the song "Apologize" - giving it an R&B vibe, adding more powerful bass, a new drum part, and lead vocals. Billboard placed it at number 10 on the Hottest Songs of the Decade chart. Thus, the "Apologize" remix, as it turns out, became both Timbaland's most successful work of all time and also provided a great career launch for its source, OneRepublic.

The group's second album Waking Up (2009) allowed them to warm up stars such as Pink, Bon Jovi, and Maroon 5, greatly expanding their audience, which was also helped by the use of individual singles from the album in television shows, series, and movies. On the tour of their third album, “Native” (2013), they were already in high demand themselves, performing in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand as headliners. On the other hand, the video of the most successful single "Counting Stars" from the album "Native" reached 4 billion views on YouTube in 2024, entering the 18th place in the list of the most viewed videos on the channel.

In 2015, while preparing the next album, Teders said in an interview that it was time for OneRepublic to change the old sound for a new one and say goodbye to the previous one. Rhythm guitarist Drew Brown added that this change will be the best thing they have ever done. In April 2016, OneRepublic managed to move their fans to tears by posting a handwritten letter on their website, a very heartfelt gesture in the virtual age. But an even bigger storm of excitement was caused by their next step - the group started sending cards to their most loyal fans all over the world by the good old post, the use of which was once so every day and sweet, but today the mailboxes are sadly empty and abandoned for weeks, months or even years. What did OneRepublic say in it? What the most ardent fans of any group are waiting for the most - news about the news. As a result of all these activities, the fans were so intrigued that the 2016 album "Oh My My" became the most successful in the band's career.

Well, OneRepublic has sold more than sixteen million copies of their albums worldwide, which does not necessarily mean that this is the entire number of listeners of these albums in an age where most people consume music on streaming platforms, and there the numbers are even more impressive. In the summer of 2024, the group's sixth album "Artificial Paradise" was released, which, for the convenience of today's busy people, again has many singles featuring many guest artists - "Sunshine", "West Coast", "I Ain't Worried", "Runaway", "Mirage" with Mishaal Tamer, "I Don't Wanna Wait" with David Guetta, "Nobody" and "UEFA Euro 2024" Official Song "Fire" featuring "Meduza" and "Leony". OneRepublic is asking fans to get ready early by getting a ticket to the concert to see for themselves if what Rolling Stone once said about their future music was true.
