Vilnis Kundrats trio | 'Līdzgaitnieki'

On December 5, the MASA jazz club will present the program “Līdzgaitnieki” performed by saxophonist Vilnis Kundrats and his trio — a personal and lyrical musical story.

Vilnis describes this program as a series of musical portraits, where each composition is dedicated to someone who has played an important role in his life. These are fellow musicians with whom he has shared creative paths and friendship, as well as women who have inspired him with their presence, emotion, and spiritual closeness.
The concert will feature pieces titled Helēna, Andra, Linda, Aija, Paula, Raimonds, Raivo, Zigis, Deniss, and others — each with its own character, melodic language, and shades of jazz.
