On April 10, the Jānis Vanadziņš Quintet will perform the program Sweet Home Chicago at MASA Jazz Club, which focuses on the Chicago blues tradition and its history. During the concert, the musicians will take listeners on a musical journey from the cotton fields of Louisiana to the clubs of Chicago, revealing the development of the genre through some of the most iconic blues compositions.

The program will feature arrangements of works by John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, Son House, Don Covay, and other blues legends.
