On March 21, MASA jazz club will host an energetic jazz and funk program in the Baltic Fusion style. The instrumental group FunCOOLio will take the stage, joined for this evening by saxophonist Andrejs Polovko.
The program features original compositions blending jazz-rock language, funk rhythms, and colorful, organically shaped harmonies. Variations, rhythmic accents, and strong melodic lines play a key role in the structure of the music, creating a focused and dynamic concert experience.
FunCOOLio has been performing for over 15 years and has released three albums of original instrumental music. Joined by Andrejs Polovko, the ensemble presents a powerful, live, groove-driven sound.
