Global superstar cellist Hauser announces an unforgettable concert experience built around his latest album "Cinema" - a sweeping homage to some of the most unforgettable melodies in film history. "Cinema" is more than that: it is a passionate journey throughout the legendary Movie Soundtracks of all time. Expect the unexpected! The beauty of this music will resonate in the most iconic of venues and settings.
This special performance invites audiences into Hauser’s Cinematic universe, where beloved movie themes, evergreen classics, and selections from "Cinema" come together in an evening of elegance, emotion, and orchestral grandeur.
Released in September 2025, "Cinema" features 25 film themes reinvented through Hauser’s signature artistry, recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Robert Ziegler. Spanning decades of "Cinema", the album includes iconic pieces such as “What Was I Made For?”, “Mission: Impossible,” “The Music of the Night,” “A Time for Us,” “Writing’s on the Wall,” and romantic themes from “Somewhere in Time” and “Out of Africa”.
Hauser shares: “The "Cinema" project has been in my head for a long time. I've always wanted to contribute with my own voice to the world of film music. I wanted to give shape to what those beautiful movie soundtracks can be, both behind and beyond the message of the film itself. I want people to listen and try to recall the feelings and memories the movies created. And I truly believe everything sounds better on the cello, so I'm hoping this will be a unique and beautiful experience for "Cinema" lovers. Some themes are world-famous, others are hidden jewels. But once people hear them through the voice of the cello, I believe they’ll become new favorites.”
Following a remarkable decade as part of duo 2Cellos, Hauser has emerged as a solo visionary, bringing cello music to new audiences through innovation, passion, and irresistible charisma. His solo albums: Classic (2020), The Player (2022), Hauser Christmas (2023), Classic II (2024), and now Cinema, have earned him more than 2 billion audio streams and 4 billion video views.
Celebrated for his magnetic stage presence, he has performed in over 40 countries, at renowned venues including Radio City Music Hall and Royal Albert Hall, and alongside artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Elton John. His artistic journey also includes appearances at the Venice International Film Festival, performances for the Pope, and features across major global media. For some time Hauser launched “Music Unites the World” on his social media - a passion project where he will record an iconic song from each nation around the globe to spread a message of unity through music.
