Adele's songbook “Someone Like You” is postponed to December 2021
The ultimate show “Someone Like You. The Adele Songbook” is potponed to December 30th, 2021. Due to the growing restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become impossible to hold a concert in December this year.
All the tickets purchased so far remain valid and the ticket sales continue at all “Biļešu serviss” outlets and on www.bilesuserviss.lv.

“Someone Like You. The Adele Songbook” is a show where the thrilling tunes of Adele's super hits have been performed by Katie Markham, the finalist of British “X Factor”. Katie was selected by Adele herself and she never even dreamed that they would be both singing live on one stage in London. Katie brings the incredible performance to venues around Europe, recreating the magic that the legendary Adele started more than a decade ago.
The performance features Adele's smash hits Chasing Pavements, Make You Feel my Love, Set Fire to the Rain, Someone Like You, Rolling in the Deep’ Hello and the multi-million seller Skyfall, as well as featuring a selection of songs by some of the legends, like Bob Dylan, George Michael and The Cure, that inspired her.
Like many kids at her age 6, also Katie loved singing and dancing, but as she grew older she didn't quit it. Taking the passion seriously she took singing and dancing classes at several schools. Starting age 15 Katie Markham is constant winner of various singing competitions. In 2013 she qualifies for British “X Factor” and in 2015 Adele's producers turn to the talented young lady calling to take part in competition for brand new show “Someone Like You. The Adele Songbook”, where she, as most appropriate, is chosen by Adele herself.
Katie admits that she's feeling so excited, and of course she couldn't even imagine that one day she would not only embody Adel, but even perform once on stage with her idol.

“There is a real beauty to Adele’s music. I think that’s why it appeals to so many people, she lays raw emotion out for all the world to see,” Katie comments.
This immaculate concert production recreates the magic of Adele’s music from her three hit albums, “19”, “21” and “25”, reminding audiences why they first fell in love with her beautiful music more than ten years ago. In addition the set gathers the pieces of several artists that have somehow specially influenced Adele. For instance, Bob Dylan's Make You Feel My Love or George Michael's Fast Love.
